About The Position

The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse provides hospice patient care after hours and on weekends as patient needs arise. The nurse helps patients spend quality time with loved ones and participate in activities they enjoy, while building trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families. The role includes educating caregivers about care for their loved one and helping patients and families maintain comfort and cope with after-hours emergencies. The stated schedule is Friday through Monday, 5 PM to 8 AM, with flexibility to meet agency staffing needs; typical schedules may also include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on followed by seven days off.

Requirements

• Hold an RN license in the state where you work.
• Have two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Have a current driver's license.
• Hold current CPR and BCLS certifications.
• Flex your schedule to meet agency staffing needs.
