About The Position

Compassus is seeking a compassionate Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide essential patient care during after-hours and weekend shifts. This role is crucial in enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and engage in enjoyable activities. The ideal candidate will build trusting relationships with patients and families, empower caregivers through education, and ensure patients maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping during emergency support situations.

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise for our patients
