About The Position
Safro Staffing & Consulting is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) for a client in the Philadelphia area. This position involves providing on-call coverage every other week, responding to patient and family calls, triaging urgent clinical needs, completing necessary visits, coordinating with various healthcare providers, and ensuring proper documentation and handoff to the daytime team. The role requires flexibility and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 4-6 visits per week during the on-call period.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to respond to patient/family calls
- Ability to triage urgent clinical needs
- Ability to complete visits as needed
- Ability to coordinate with pharmacy/DME/providers
- Ability to complete documentation and provide handoff to daytime team
- Must be available for on-call coverage every other week
