About The Position
Billet Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support our Hospice team through completion of Face-to-Face (F2F) visits. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patients continue to meet eligibility requirements while maintaining the highest level of care, dignity, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong clinical background, excellent documentation skills, and a deep understanding of hospice philosophy and patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong understanding of CMS hospice regulations and documentation requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct Face-to-Face (F2F) visits in accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines
- Complete and submit timely, accurate, and compliant documentation supporting hospice eligibility
- Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team (IDG), including physicians, nurses, and leadership
- Assess patient condition, disease progression, and continued eligibility for hospice services
- Communicate clinical findings clearly with Medical Directors and clinical staff
- Ensure all visits are conducted with compassion, professionalism, and respect for patients and families
