About The Position

Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide comprehensive, personalized care to patients with life-limiting illnesses during their final stages. Care is delivered where patients and families are most comfortable, including private homes, long-term care communities, assisted living residences, and hospitals.

The role uses a holistic approach to address patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with family members and caregivers to honor patients’ needs and wishes and provide care with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Requirements

• Current ARNP license and/or ability to activate a license in the state where the employee will work.
• Active CPR certification.
• Hospice or palliative care experience.
• Two years of verifiable experience working as a nurse (ARNP, RN, or LPN).
• Current driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to travel between multiple locations within the region.
• Home access to the internet.

• Hospice experience is preferred.
