Hospice Nurse Practitioner - (PRN)
About The Position
Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide care for patients with life-limiting illnesses during their final stages of life. The role involves meeting patients and families in settings where they are most comfortable, including homes, long-term care communities, assisted living residences, and hospitals. Care is tailored to patients’ individual needs and addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with family members and caregivers to honor patients’ needs and wishes and provide care with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Requirements
- Current ARNP license and/or ability to activate a license in the state where the employee will work.
- Active CPR certification.
- Hospice or palliative care experience.
- Two years of verifiable experience working as a nurse (ARNP, RN, or LPN).
- Current driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
- Ability to travel between multiple locations within the region.
- Home access to the internet.
