About The Position

Cedar Valley Hospice, a not-for-profit organization with multiple local and national awards for high-quality, exceptional end-of-life care, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Waterloo, Iowa. As a Hospice Home Nurse, you will provide nursing care for up to 6 patients in the inpatient Hospice Home, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role involves assessing patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, participating in developing individualized care plans, and educating/supporting patients, caregivers, and families. Requirements

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn work-related software
• Valid Iowa driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Two years of recent nursing experience
• Previous hospice, home health, palliative care, or related nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for up to 6 patients in our inpatient Hospice Home.
• Deliver compassionate end-of-life care focused on comfort, dignity and quality of life.
• Assess patients physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Participates in developing individualized care plans.
• Educate and support patients, caregivers and families.
