About The Position

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us visiting our patients in their home in Palm Beach County while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: Thursday - Monday 5:00am – 1:30pm. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has been honored to serve families across Palm Beach and Broward counties with compassionate, community-based care. Formed from the legacy of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County, we continue to provide comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing advanced illness.

Requirements

Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Must be willing to accept direction and supervision.
Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
Must be able to work comfortably with professionals and volunteers.
Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.

Nice To Haves

Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Providing direct and indirect patient care in home and inpatient settings under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs
Supporting a safe, clean, and comforting environment for patients
Offering emotional, physical, and bodily comfort to patients and families during a sensitive time
Educating and assisting patients and caregivers to maintain the highest level of safe, independent living
Prioritizing patient and family comfort above all else
Delivering personalized, sincere, and compassionate service with every visit
Promptly addressing concerns to ensure patient and family satisfaction
