About The Position

Haven Home Health, an affiliate of Choice Health at Home, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Hospice Director of Nursing (DON). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality end-of-life care, and guiding a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2–3 years of hospice supervisor experience, with leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance, and clinical standards
• Proven leadership, organizational, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of hospice clinical services and staff
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards
• Supervise and support nursing staff, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Oversee patient care planning, coordination, and quality outcomes
• Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support agency growth and operational goals
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of clinical staff
• Ensure proper documentation and regulatory readiness at all times
