About The Position

Luna Del Valle (LDV) Hospice is a locally-owned and operated Hospice company based in Albuquerque, NM. LDV Hospice is dedicated to providing exceptional end-of-life care with compassion and dignity. They are seeking a skilled and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team of Hospice Home Health Aides. No previous Hospice experience is required, and even if your only CNA experience is in a hospital or medical office setting, you are encouraged to apply. As a Hospice Aide at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to patients during their end-of-life journey. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, while also providing peace-of-mind to their families and loved ones.

Requirements

• Active CNA license required.
• 1+ years of general CNA experience highly encouraged.
• Good, caring bedside manner is required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in patient condition.
