About The Position

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) PRN-Variable. CNAs for Hospice are responsible for providing personal care and homemaker services to our patients. Our CNAs meet the needs of our patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. They are part of the interdisciplinary team that all work together to create a one-of a kind experience for our patients and their families. The CNA (PRN) is designed to provide flexible staffing solutions. PRN coverage will be utilized for coverage related to: PTO, FAMLI/FMLA, HFWA Leave, Vacancies that are being actively recruited to fill.

Requirements

• Current Colorado CNA License
• Valid Colorado Driver’s license, adequate automobile insurance and reliable transportation, if providing care in the community setting
• A genuine spirit of caring and compassion
• Effective communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Availability for at least 24 hours of work per month.
• Must include 1 weekend shift.
• Provide a general availability, with a more detailed availability submitted the month prior to scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and homemaker services to patients.
• Meeting the needs of patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Benefits

• Pay: $18.50-$22.13 base wage, plus 10% for PRN status
• Differentials: $5/hr weekends
