Requirements

  • Passion for hospice and end-of-life care (previous hospice experience required).
  • Proven leadership experience within hospice, home health, palliative care, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop interdisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance standards, and quality initiatives.
  • Experience managing patient caseloads, coordinating care, and supporting complex clinical decision-making.
  • Desire to lead an interdisciplinary care team while advancing a culture of compassion and excellence.
  • Registered Nurse required
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN or Master's degree preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire an interdisciplinary hospice team focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care.
  • Support the team by providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and sound judgment to promote exceptional patient and family experiences.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance, and regulatory readiness activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor future hospice leaders through ongoing education, support, and professional development.
  • Provide leadership support for complex clinical situations and assist with care planning and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, facilities, referral sources, and community partners to strengthen relationships and enhance patient care.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining top hospice talent.
  • Help drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, mission-driven workplace culture.
  • Support office operations and growth initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 annually depending on qualifications
  • SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000 paid over the course of 2 years
