We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Chaplain who is dedicated to leading with empathy, clinical excellence, and a deep respect for patient dignity. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (MDiv) or equivalent theological degree.
  • Have successfully completed four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education, CPE.
  • Experience working with death and dying, terminal individuals and their families or caregivers.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide spiritual support to patients and families by assessing their needs and offering care aligned with their beliefs and practices.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop comprehensive plans that meet spiritual needs.
  • Coordinate spiritual services, including working with community clergy or spiritual counselors.
  • Lead religious services for patients, families, and staff as requested.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the faith community, offering guidance and support.
