Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and direction from nursing management. The role works under the direction of the Director of CNA Services or designee and collaborates with other licensed care staff to coordinate appropriate care. The CNA must follow company nursing policies and procedures and safety guidelines. Brighton/Suncrest Hospice aims to provide exceptional hospice care and service by increasing staff-to-patient ratios, increasing clinical visits, and lowering clinician caseloads. The role involves working closely with patients one-on-one while receiving support from a patient care team.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state or states of practice.
- Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with community organizations in patient care.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
- Willingness to drive, with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities
- Provide care to assigned residents according to resident assessments and care plans and as directed by nursing management.
- Coordinate appropriate resident care with other licensed care staff.
- Follow company nursing policies and procedures and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
