About The Position
AdvisaCare Home Health Care, a Medicare-certified agency, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care services to hospice clients served by its Grand Rapids office. Troy will be the parent agency. The role involves building meaningful relationships and fostering a healing environment in a home-care setting. Hospice experience is preferred but not required. This is a per-diem position, with the possibility of full-time work for the right candidate. The position requires travel throughout the AdvisaCare service area, including Barry and surrounding counties.
Requirements
- Current State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel within the AdvisaCare service area.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, including screening for medical and recreational marijuana.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of hospice CNA experience or equivalent; preferred but not required.
