Hospice Certified Nursing assistant - Part time
About The Position
AdvisaCare Home Health Care, a Medicare-certified agency for over 20 years, is seeking experienced, motivated, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personal care services to hospice clients served by its Muskegon office. Troy will be the parent agency. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and foster a healing environment in a home care setting. Hospice experience is preferred but not required. The position is part-time/per diem, with the possibility of full-time work for the right candidate. The role requires travel across the AdvisaCare service area, including Barry and surrounding counties.
Requirements
- Current State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel within the AdvisaCare service area.
- Successful completion of a drug screen before employment, including medical and recreational marijuana screening.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of hospice CNA experience or equivalent; preferred but not required.
- Hospice experience; preferred but not required.
