Hospice Certified Nursing assistant

About The Position
AdvisaCare Home Health Care, a Medicare Certified Agency for over 20 years, is seeking experienced, motivated, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide personal care services to hospice clients served by its Grand Rapids office. Troy will be the parent agency. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and foster a healing environment in a home care setting. Hospice experience is preferred but not required. The position is per diem, with the possibility of full-time work for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Current State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- High school graduate or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel within the AdvisaCare service area.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, including screening for medical and recreational marijuana.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of hospice CNA experience or equivalent; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services to hospice clients in a home care setting.
- Travel across the AdvisaCare service area, including Barry and surrounding counties.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and foster a healing environment.
