About The Position
The Department of Medicine, in collaboration with the Palliative Care & Hospice Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is seeking a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join its growing team. This open-rank, fixed-term faculty position combines clinical care with expertise in clinical research or quality improvement. The physician will have opportunities to excel and lead in clinical research, with access to relevant resources, mentoring, and collaboration. The position may be placed in any subspecialty division within the Department of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, or Department of Emergency Medicine. Academic appointment will be based on the physician’s specialty and subspecialty in conjunction with the Palliative Care & Hospice Program. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience, and the position includes the School of Medicine faculty benefits package and incentive plan.
Requirements
- Physician specializing in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Expertise in clinical research or quality improvement.
