About The Position

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting a full-time, fixed-term, open-rank faculty member in the Division of Breast Imaging. The successful candidate will join a collaborative division of breast imaging radiologists committed to excellent patient care, education of imaging fellows, diagnostic radiology residents and medical students, and scholarly endeavors. Responsibilities include daily patient care, training graduate and postgraduate students, and possible research. Clinical services are performed primarily in a teaching setting, with fellows, residents, or medical students observing and participating. The division’s facilities are designated ACR Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence and are MQSA certified. Breast Imaging Radiologists perform all imaging and minimally invasive biopsies and participate in a multidisciplinary approach to breast disease.
