About The Position

As a PCS (Hospice Aide), you will provide compassionate care to patients and their families, working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team to bring comfort, dignity, and peace. This PRN night-shift position is based at the Dayton Hospice House IPU and may also cover the Troy and Middletown Hospice House IPUs when needed. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to accurately document patient care and services in electronic medical records.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license, safe driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse Aide certification; internal training is available.
• Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse Aide (CHPNA) certification. Ohio’s Hospice offers eligible employees opportunities to obtain certification.
