About The Position

As a Hospice Account Executive, you’ll be the trusted connection between our hospice services and the community we serve. Your mission is to help patients and families access compassionate care by building strong relationships with healthcare providers and facilities in your territory. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of sales experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations and managed care.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • A commitment to our mission and ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and achieve admission targets by implementing and adjusting territory sales strategies.
  • Partner with discharge planners, nurses, and physicians to share hospice information and support smooth transitions for patients and families.
  • Ensure referrals meet admission criteria and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Work closely with agency leadership to discuss opportunities, address challenges, and celebrate wins.
  • Respond to inquiries about hospice services and provide informational sessions as needed.
  • Promote additional offerings like Palliative Care when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and manage territory plans effectively.
  • Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and outstanding customer service in every interaction.
