About The Position

This role serves as an intermediary between sales and production personnel, providing technical assistance to promote product knowledge and facilitate the sales process. The Hose Technician will work with existing and new customers to understand their end-use product requirements and offer innovative technical solutions to their problems. This position is also responsible for developing technical solutions to product manufacturing issues, improving and streamlining the hose and gasket manufacturing process, and evaluating new tools for product manufacture. Additionally, the role involves improving the utilization of current tools and equipment, including programming improvements for computer-controlled devices, and facilitating the repair and ongoing maintenance of current equipment. The Hose Technician will also collaborate with Inventory Control regarding stock levels and obsolete inventory.
