Purpose
To improve and facilitate the manufacture of Hose, Pipe and Gasket products offered by United Central Industrial Supply Co. LLC., throughout its organization.

Requirements

• Technical assistance to promote product knowledge and facilitate the sales process.
• Provide/suggest innovative technical solutions to customer problems.
• Develop technical solutions to product manufacturing issues.
• Improve and streamline the hose and gasket manufacturing process.
• Evaluate new tools in the manufacture of hose, pipe, and gasket products.
• Improve current utilization of current tools/equipment, including programming improvements of computer-controlled devices.
• Facilitate repair and ongoing maintenance of current equipment.
• Work with Inventory Control regarding stock levels and obsolete inventory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an intermediary between sales and production personnel, providing technical assistance designed to promote product knowledge and to facilitate the overall sales process.
• Work with existing and new customers, learn their end-use product requirements and provide/suggest innovative technical solutions to individual customer problems.
• Develop technical solutions to product manufacturing issues. Improve and streamline the hose and gasket manufacturing process. Evaluate new tools in the manufacture of said products. Improve the current utilization of current tools/equipment, to include programming improvements of computer-controlled devices.
• Facilitate the repair and ongoing maintenance of current equipment.
• Work with Inventory Control regarding stock levels, obsolete inventory, etc.
