Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders, customer orders, and shipping documents to determine materials and assembly needs.
- Assemble and fabricate hydraulic hose components according to specifications.
- Process backorders and help complete customer hose assemblies.
- Sort, stage, and move materials throughout warehouse and production areas.
- Use the DBS system to charge and document hose rebuilds and materials used.
- Prepare and label hose assemblies according to company guidelines.
- Pack, palletize, and stage completed orders for shipping or delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization.
- Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles to transport materials as needed.
- Follow Caterpillar contamination-control and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on hose tooling and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
