About The Position
The Horse Barn at Iowa State is looking to hire someone to assist in chores related to caring for the horses. This includes feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, medicating (IM, IV, oral), turning horses in/out, notifying management of any injured animals, cleaning sheds, and keeping the barns tidy for tours. The position is temporary with a proposed end date of May 31, 2027.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship

- Prior horse experience
