About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Hopper Utility I to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on Third Shift. As a Hopper Utility I this candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the hopper mixing area to include bags of product, tools and equipment. This position works Monday to Thursday 5:25 PM - 5:25 AM.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain and hold a fork lift license
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Able to routinely life up to 40 lbs.
Able to obtain and maintain a tow motor license.

Responsibilities

Oversees all aspects of the hopper mixing area.
Operates touch screen panel to control sequencing and clear faults.
Maintains control of tools and equipment assigned to work area.
Moves product from staging area to repack line by pulling jacks filled with product.
Dumps or loads bulk bags of product into assigned hopper.
Helps set-up bulk blending unit for start-up.
Sets up work area before production begins each day.
Maintains accurate counts of product used and waste, and records data electronically or manually.
Helps clean floor and equipment in barrel filling operation.
Must be able to obtain tow motor license.
Must be able to routinely lift up to 40 lbs.
Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
