HOPE Squad leads will exemplify kind and courteous treatment of others, professional behavior around sensitive topics, and supportive treatment to all students.

  • Intermediate (Developing Skills) Work Experience Description: Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing Hope Squad outreach initiatives
  • Attend the weekly Hope Squad class
  • Become familiar with Hope Squad regulations, procedures, and mission
  • Coordinate efforts with various campus departments
  • Help create informative and engaging posters, flyers, videos, and other promotional materials
  • Use office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and desktop computers
  • Demonstrate leadership by fulfilling assigned program responsibilities and organizational roles
  • Assist with planning and creating content for public outreach, including (but not limited to) social media accounts, posters, flyers, emails, and surveys
