Requirements

  • Automotive Sales Manager experience required
  • Consistently performing in the top of sales metrics
  • F&I experience in sales and/or management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • A heart for customer care and demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Availability to work retail hours including Saturdays and holidays
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean driving record with minimal accidents, points or moving violations
  • Able to use/learn to use: CRM database, Google Suite and other automotive software products as required

Responsibilities

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
  • Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the new vehicle sales department with assistance from the Dealer and General Sales Manager.
  • Attend manager meetings.
  • Assist the General Sales Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the new-vehicle department.
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees.
  • Oversee the efforts of new-vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
  • Communicate with new-vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Guide all salespeople in setting their objectives on a short and long-range basis, review team performance.
