About The Position

As a Honda Main Line Technician at Honda of Salisbury, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. Your expertise will help deliver reliable service and contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers. This role involves utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues, performing a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension services, and ensuring all work meets dealership and industry standards for quality and safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed in the dealership management system. Effective customer communication is essential to explain repair needs and recommendations, and collaboration with service advisors and other technicians is required to ensure efficient workflow and high levels of customer satisfaction. Continuous learning to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and development is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an automotive technician training program is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus.

Responsibilities
