About The Position

Homeschool Teacher - Early Childhood You'll design, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons tailored to Kindergarten aged learners—fostering mastery in mathematical concepts and literacy skills. Whether it’s fundamental math or narrative writing, you'll spark curiosity, build confidence, and support academic growth in a one-on-one or small-group environment.

Requirements

  • Certified teacher OR at least 5 years of proven experience as a homeschool instructor.
  • Familiarity with working with students who have learning disabilities (e.g., ASD, dyslexia, dysgraphia), and ability to adapt lessons accordingly.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching early childhood students.

  • Creative, patient, empathetic, and committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning styles.
  • Deliver lessons that are interactive and adaptive—integrating games, real-world examples, STEM-related readings, and writing exercises as appropriate.
  • Administer and grade assignments, quizzes, and projects.
  • Track progress regularly, identify areas for improvement, and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Modify lessons to meet the needs of students with learning differences, such as ASD, dyslexia, or dysgraphia.
  • Employ strategies that build confidence, strengthen executive functioning, and promote engagement.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to share updates and suggest strategies for further support.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, nurturing, and organized learning space—focused on fostering independent learning, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
