About The Position
Abernathy Home Care is seeking dependable, compassionate Homemakers to assist seniors with everyday household tasks, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, building relationships, and helping others, with the added benefit of a flexible schedule close to home. No hands-on personal care is required.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Dependable, caring, and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, caregiving, or customer service is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a clean, safe home
- Do laundry, change bed linens, and assist with household organization
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals
- Complete grocery shopping and other essential errands
- Provide companionship and friendly conversation
- Encourage clients to remain active and engaged
- Report any concerns or changes to the office team
