About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is seeking dependable, compassionate Homemakers to provide non-medical in-home support for clients throughout Lynn and the surrounding communities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, staying active, and creating a clean, comfortable environment for those who need a little extra assistance. The job involves helping seniors remain independent in their own homes.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Dependable, caring, and professional
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, home care, or customer service is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Keep clients' homes clean, organized, and safe
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and changing bed linens
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
• Complete grocery shopping and other household errands
• Provide companionship and friendly conversation
• Help clients maintain their independence while aging in place
• Report any concerns or changes to our office team
