About The Position
Towne Home Care is an award-winning agency with over 15 years of experience providing quality home care services for the elderly. The agency is seeking compassionate Companion/Homemakers to offer supervision and hands-off assistance with daily living activities for their geriatric clients. Case availability may vary.
Requirements
- Caring and compassionate personality
- 1 Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray
- Level II Background Screening through AHCA
- Driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Supervise elderly clients in private homes or health care facility settings
- Perform domestic and household tasks, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, dishes, and laundry services
- Provide certain personal grooming assistance, such as brushing hair or polishing nails
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
- Assist with grocery shopping, transportation to doctor appointments, and errands
