Homemaker/Companion - Weekend Schedule
About The Position
Right At Home In Home Care in Wallingford CT is seeking a Companion/Homemaker for weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays, 5 A.M.-9 A.M.) to assist a male client in Plantsville. The role involves helping with grooming, dressing, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid Driver's license and auto insurance
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
- Must have basic computer skills and navigate with little assistance from others
- 6 months of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Must have successfully completed a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies
- 6 months experience as a Home Health Aide in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course.
