About The Position
UniversaCare is hiring a homemaker and companion to care for clients in Waterbury and Litchfield County. You’ll work out of our UniversaCare of Central Connecticut office at 534 Frost Road, 2nd Floor, Waterbury, CT 06705.
Requirements
- A caring attitude and reliability
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
Nice To Haves
- caregiving experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation and activities
- Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and go with clients to appointments
- Help clients keep a safe, steady daily routine
