About The Position

Full Life Care is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated in 1980, dedicated to improving the quality of life for adults and their caregivers. They help adults of all ages with chronic illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities regardless of their income. This role is for a Homecare Supervisor at the Beacon Hill location. The organization is looking for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of senior individuals and values employee growth.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Associate’s degree in social services, home economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to travel locally and meet in-person reviews with clients, caregivers, and team members

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a health or social service setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the interviewing, orientation, and performance management of home care aides
  • Provide direct supervision and support to home care aides, including scheduling, training, and conflict resolution
  • Develop and regularly update individualized home care service plans
  • Ensure aide compliance with care plans and agency standards
  • Monitor and manage a caseload of clients receiving long-term in-home care services
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients, caregivers, case managers, and care team members
  • Support home care aides in delivering preventive care and beneficial services to clients
  • Conduct on-site visits and perform annual evaluations of direct care staff
  • Ensure compliance with electronic visit verification, timekeeping accuracy, and documentation procedures
  • Respond to and appropriately refer telephone calls, emails, and client/caregiver concerns
  • Assist clients, families, and informal supports with empathy and professionalism
  • Facilitate smooth transitions for new clients from intake to ongoing care supervision
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and caregiver records in the care management system
  • Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed to meet organizational goals
  • Collaborate with leadership and complete tasks or projects as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
