Requirements
- Active LPN or RN License issued by NYS
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a homecare setting.
- Current BLS Certification
- Empathy, Reliability, and a commitment to high-quality care
- Experience with trach care and suctioning.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ventilator-dependent patients
- G-tube care
- Seizure management
- Medication administration
Responsibilities
- Perform physical and Health Assessments before making critical decisions.
- Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
- Administer medications and other personalized interventions.
- Coordinate care, in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.
- Document nursing notes regarding patient care daily.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand/work for extended periods.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
