About The Position

The role of the CDL Driver is to safely deliver products and render outstanding service to our customers. Workdays may range between 8 to 14 hours per day. The work week may not exceed 70 hours. The driver must be willing to drive Intrastate and/or Interstate.

Requirements

• Legal eligibility to work in the US
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Current Class “A” CDL
• Current Medical Card
• Must be 30 years of age.
• Has a minimum of 10 years of experience operating tractor/trailer equipment.
• Acceptable Driving Records consist of: Up to three minor violations and zero accidents in the last 36 months, Up to two minor violations and one not at-fault accident in the last 36 months.
• No major violations in the last 5 years.
• Major violations include, but are not limited to: DUI’s, reckless driving, distracted driving, cell phone usage and major speeding violations.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products and render outstanding service to our customers.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including the checking of tire pressures.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime and weekends.
• Effectively manage job-related stress and foster productive workplace interactions.
• Work well under pressure and deal tactfully with others.
• Be willing to drive Intrastate and/or Interstate.
• Familiar with DOT Regulation.
