About The Position

Audio Advice is seeking experienced Sales & System Designers to drive sales and deliver an exceptional experience to our customers. Utilizing the best demonstration showroom in the state, salesmen will work with customers to understand their needs and offer the best solution within budget. The role involves selling products for music, movies, home automation, cameras, and security, with sales being both retail and custom, requiring installation services. Salesmen must possess high knowledge of equipment and software to complete design packages for the installation team. Successful candidates are great listeners, solid consultants, good with people, and have a high aptitude for home technology. Leads will be provided through web advertising and showroom visits, but top performers will also generate leads from builders, remodelers, architects, and designers. Compensation includes a modest salary plus commissions, with earnings typically ranging from $50,000 for less experienced individuals to over $200,000 for senior sales designers.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of A/V sales experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, take initiative, and multi-task
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceeding sales, individual service quality, and team goals
• Create, maintain and improve customer relationships while interacting with customers on a daily basis during sales and product inquiry transactions.
• Build audio, video, and home theater solutions that engage customers and drive profitability
• Drive repeat business by providing excellent service and thorough product knowledge to customers through relationship building and solutions sales.
• Keep customers informed on the status of their order, reconcile errors in a cost-effective manner, resolve post-order issues such as returns and follow up to ensure all customer needs are fulfilled.
