About The Position

Provides in-home support and emergency response services to clients in the home support and assisted living environment. Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care (“Yee Hong”) is one of the largest not-for-profit, culturally-appropriate seniors care organizations in Canada. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved and recognized Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certificate
  • Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
  • Client-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and time manage
  • Ability to work independently as well as be an active, positive team player
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).
  • Basic knowledge of Alayacare, Workday an asset.
  • Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen result
  • Ability to communicate in English and Chinese
