About The Position

Adams Homes is seeking a Home Site Acquisition Analyst to join their Pensacola Team. This role is responsible for all aspects of the home site acquisition process, with a focus on middle-of-funnel activities. This includes evaluating proposed home sites, profit projections, absorption projections, Letters of Intent (LOIs), and purchase agreements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
Experience with and/or knowledge of Real Estate contracts and procedures
Familiarity with absorption rate, Home Owners Association functionality, local government’s effect on home building
A passion for real estate negotiations, evaluation, due diligence, risk mitigation, transactions and a relentless desire to learn and improve within your profession
An understanding of production home building and budget/profit analysis
A firm understanding of deal structure and the effects of deal structure as it relates to a home builder
An inquisitive approach towards an understanding of each Division's operational structure, team members, marketplace, competitors, customer base, etc.
The ability to understand a housing market and sub-market, considering both new construction and resale home markets
An understanding of housing market indicators, and their effect on sales projections of new communities
Experience with and/or knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel and Access
