About The Position
American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role offers flexible hours with weekend availability required, and both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. You will engage with customers in a retail store environment, approach shoppers, and start friendly, professional conversations to understand their home comfort needs. You will educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions, generate qualified leads, and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments. The role requires representing the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically, and working toward individual and team lead-generation goals to provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
Requirements
- Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts
- Weekend and some holiday availability
- Reliable transportation
- Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
- Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
- Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law
Nice To Haves
- HVAC experience
- Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred
