About The Position

Responsible for the overall direction and supervision of the assigned region of Home Repair program. Encourages and provides personal and professional development opportunities for the team (employees and volunteers), including coaching, team building, staff development, and discipline. This role involves 45% leadership and development of the program and its components, aligning with CAP’s mission, strategic plan, and outcomes models. Additionally, 30% is dedicated to management of assigned areas and their components, including recordkeeping, finances, contract management, and required reports, with the remaining 25% focused on other management duties.

Requirements

  • Associates in a Related Field Required
  • Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required
  • CAP Driving Certification (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required
  • In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.
  • DOT Medical Card Required
  • Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk
  • Lift 50 lb from floor to waist
  • Lift 50 lb from waist to shoulder
  • Lift 25 lb from shoulder to overhead
  • Carry 50 lb for 25 ft
  • Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance
  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses
  • Have good hearing capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors in a Related Field Preferred
  • Extensive related experience may substitute for education requirements and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • 2 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
