About The Position

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Home Loan Specialist with a strong administrative background and advanced Excel skills. This role is ideal for candidates coming from a bank or financial services environment who have supported operational, back‑office, or analytical functions and are not customer‑facing or phone‑based. Prior mortgage experience is not required—we are happy to train candidates with the right skill set and attention to detail.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs
High‑volume data entry
General administrative and operational support experience
Experience using Microsoft Office / Office Suite tools

Nice To Haves

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to interpret legal and financial documents
Experience in financial services (banking, lending, or similar) preferred
Mortgage industry experience is a plus but not required
General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations

Responsibilities

Perform routine data entry, validation, and quality checks with a strong focus on accuracy
Pull, review, and monitor assigned reports on a daily basis
Review and validate financial and loan‑related documents
Follow established procedures while maintaining a “Right First Time” approach
Conduct exception analysis and escalate issues as needed
Complete additional administrative or operational tasks as assigned
Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s culture and values
