About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, community-minded Home Inspector to join our growing team. This role blends technical inspection work, customer service, and sales-focused follow-up to help homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals make informed decisions about residential properties. The majority of work is performed on-site at residential properties, involving inspections of structural elements, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems. Frequent direct contact with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents is expected, requiring professional and friendly communication. The role also involves using company inspection software to create clear, photo-supported reports within expected turnaround times.

Requirements

  • Hands-on construction experience and familiarity with residential HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Hold (or be actively pursuing) a Home Inspector certification/license as required by state or national standards.
  • Friendly, positive, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in understandable terms and build rapport quickly.
  • Motivated to meet quality standards and follow schedules.
  • Committed to serving the local community with integrity and respect.
  • Construction experience with practical knowledge of residential building systems.
  • Proficiency with HVAC and basic electrical systems and the ability to evaluate common defects and safety issues.
  • Home Inspector certification or license, or active pursuit of certification/licensure.
  • Strong customer service skills and a sales-minded approach to recommending services and follow-up.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and managing a schedule of inspections.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in home inspections, real estate, construction trades, or related fields.
  • Experience using inspection software and basic computer skills (email, photo editing, reporting).
  • Background in sales, client acquisition, or territory development.

Responsibilities
