About The Position
The Technician will follow well-defined instructions utilizing necessary skills to prepare sterile products, store, package and coordinate final products for Home Delivery, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Mastery and minimal direction needed to perform Pharmacy Technician functions necessary in Infusion Pharmacy setting. These duties include but are not limited to: prescriptions/order entry, maintenance of all patient related records, skill and experience in sterile preparation and appropriate labeling of finished compounds, complete bill of sales/point-of-sale transactions, answer the telephone and direct calls to appropriate staff. General pharmacy organization and cleanliness, provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Must obtain PTCB – Pharm Tech Cert within 1 year of hire
- Sterile Compounding experience required including preparation, storage, cleaning, maintenance and selection of sterile products related supplies
