About The Position

Provide technical support and assistance to pharmacy staff under supervision of a pharmacist and following established procedures. Prepare and distribute medications. Control inventory, perform record keeping functions and data entry, and provide customer service to internal and external clients. Primary duties are sterile compounding and tasks to support this including stocking and cleaning.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Graduation from Washington Board of Pharmacy accredited pharmacy technician training program, or equivalent.
Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Nice To Haves

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
Hospital/Home Care pharmacy experience.
Experience preparing IV admixtures: large volume parenterals, syringes, hazardous medication, compounded sterile preparations, investigational medications.
Experience maintaining and calibrating Automated Compounding Devices.
Working knowledge of USP797 and USP800.

Responsibilities
