About The Position

This is a PRN (as needed) Home Infusion / IVIG Registered Nurse (RN) position in a rapidly expanding market, offering a fully remote and autonomous role providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Columbia, SC area. This role allows nurses to work outside a traditional hospital setting in a specialized and growing area of nursing. It provides an opportunity for a better work-life balance compared to hospital-based roles, allowing nurses to build one-on-one relationships with patients. The position involves providing immune globulin infusion therapies, utilizing clinical IV experience and a personal touch to care for patients in their homes. Nurses will conduct one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and provide patient education according to the physician's plan of treatment. Continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion is provided, with potential reimbursement for certification expenses like Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN). In this PRN role, nurses will visit patients in greater Columbia and surrounding areas, with occasional travel up to 150-200 miles one way. Travel time is paid, and mileage is reimbursed.
