About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Intake Authorization Specialist with expertise in home infusion and a strong knowledge of HCPCS and ICD-10 coding. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our growing business by ensuring accurate and timely authorization of services and verifying patients' insurance coverage.
Requirements
- Prior experience in home infusion.
- Experience adjudicating pharmacy benefit claims, particularly Medicare Part D.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with HCPCS and ICD-10 coding.
Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients.
- Request authorizations for services as required.
- Accurately enter patient profiles and medical documents into the pharmacy system.
