About The Position
ACE Home Health Care & Hospice is seeking a compassionate, field-based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide care throughout Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Sunnyvale. This per-visit position offers flexible scheduling, dedicated administrative support, efficient documentation and communication tools, and opportunities for professional growth. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are welcome, and multilingual skills are valued. Estimated annual full-time compensation is $163,000–$238,000, though compensation varies based on experience, skills, location, internal equity, and market data. Mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate, and paid parking is provided.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, including an approved internship, or equivalent qualifications required by applicable regulations.
- Current certification to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
- Meet ASHA’s education and experience requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- At least one year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide treatment, recommend communication devices and equipment, and educate patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate services and address patient needs.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in care conferences and required meetings.
- Maintain clinical competency and supervise home health aide services related to the therapy plan, as appropriate.
